The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T19C22A9P is a PanelView Plus 7 Performance operator terminal. An external supply voltage of 18-32V DC. It provides visualization and control and allows users and operators to control a process or machine near the application or remotely from a convenient location.

It is a 19-inch PanelView Plus 7 terminal with the largest display screen, an 18-bit color screen with a display resolution of 1280 C 1024 pixels, and a viewing area of 376 x 301 mm (14.8 x 11.9 in.). Allows the designing of a process with a high degree of detail and information. Its equipped with a backlight capable of providing contrast and lighting to the screen at a minimum lifespan of 50,000 hrs when operated at the recommended temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or 104 Degrees Fahrenheit. It allows the operator to initiate control inputs, data change commands and navigation actions via the analog resistive touchscreen that is rated to operate up to 1 million actuation at an operating force of 100 grams.

The 2711P-T19C22A9P is exceptionally compatible communicating with Allen-Bradley’s modern Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform, the Logix family of controllers such as the CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers. It can also communicate with the previous controller platform and 3rd party devices. Communication with these devices is through the dual Ethernet communication interfaces that support Ethernet network topologies specifically linear, star and Device Level Ring (DLR).

The terminal can be mounted outdoors if certain conditions are met. UV protection and shielding must be added, the temperature of the terminal must be monitored and managed, and the proper enclosure must be selected. Operators can install an antiglare overlay on the terminal in order to protect the terminal from exposure to sunlight. Operators can also install sun shields to shade the terminal from any direct sun. Operators should note that the ambient temperature between the newly installed shield and the terminal does not exceed the maximum temperature the terminal is rated for. When mounting the 2711P-T19C22D9P, make sure that the minimum clearance for each side is met. The top should have a clearance of 51 mm (2 in), while the bottom clearance should be 102 m (4 in). The clearance on the side of the terminal with an SD card should be 102 mm (4 in) and 25 mm (1 in) on the side without an SD card. Operators can use mounting levers during the installation of the terminal. These levers should be inserted into the slots around the edge of the terminal in order to secure the terminal’s place in the panel.
