This B frame series drive unit is easy to install on a DIN rail, and offers several performance optimization features such as sensorless vector control, robust overload protection, relay pre-charge, adjustable PWM frequency for quiet operation, and source control for wiring flexibility.
The 22B-D2P3N104 PowerFlex 40 Drive also employs an integral PID loop that allows users to configure various process feedback reference points, including tension, flow, and pressure. The PID loop then uses these parameters to generate error values, making the unit highly flexible and versatile. The unit also has an optionally removable metal oxide varistor (MOV) that allows it to operate with ungrounded systems, and ground fault protection for reliable operation. The Class 10-rated overload protection capacity of the unit permits 150% for up to 60 seconds, or 200% for up to 3 seconds.
The 22B-D2P3N104 PowerFlex 40 Drive also has Three (3) fixed, Four (4) Fully programmable discrete inputs, One (1) N.O. / N.C. and Two (2) Digital / Optocoupler outputs, Two (2) unipolar and One (1) Bipolar analog inputs, and One (1) analog output channel. For full integration to control systems, the unit has an embedded RS485 communication port or optional communication modules, which link drive parameters directly to controller memory and allow for dynamic modification of the drive configuration. The unit has UL, CUL, KCC, and EAC certifications and approvals, and is suitable for use in demanding industrial and production environments.
