The 2080-LCD unit is a 2080 Micro800 series display add-on manufactured by Rockwell Automation. This unit is designed specifically for configuring Allen Bradley’s Micro810 controller. It features an LCD display screen of around 1.5 inches and is a display and keypad module, for Micro810 only.
To protect the passwords used with the 2080-LCD module and the Micro810 drive connected to it, Allen Bradley has set up a password system. If the password is lost or forgotten, the controller must be set back to its “program” mode using the key switch on the Micro810 module. In non-hazardous locations, the 2080-LCD module can be inserted or removed while power is still applied to the controller, but in hazardous locations, the unit’s power must be shut off completely before installation or removal of the 2080-LCD.
The temperature range for operating the 2080-LCD module is between -20 to 55 degrees Celsius or -4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be stored in a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius or -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The surrounding environmental temperature should not exceed 55 degrees Celsius or 131 degrees Fahrenheit.
