This controller has built-in input and output channels, as well as support for multiple communication protocols. The common OFF and ON time of the high-speed outputs are 2.5 μs, while the standard outputs have an ON time of 0.1 ms and an OFF time of 1 ms. The 2080-LC50-24QBB has multiple communication ports, including one USB Type B port, one RS232/RS485 non-isolated combo port, and one Ethernet communication interface. The embedded USB 2.0 (non-isolated) port can be used for programming the PLC, and any standard USB printer cable can work with the embedded USB port. The Ethernet/IP Class 3 Modbus TCP (10-100Mbps) port is used for programming, RTU applications, and HMI connectivity.
