The 2711P-B15C4D8 PanelView Plus 6 HMI module from Allen-Bradley allows users to interface with their equipment, is an operator terminal module.

This Panelview Plus 6 is an application that allows the user to control processes and machines. The user has control over the system by entering information and data into the keypad/touchscreen.

A DC source varies from 18 to 32 volts to power this machine.

Includes a RAM size of 512MB, as well as a storage capacity of 512 MB nonvolatile flash memory.

This connection is also capable of transferring applications and printing. The latest Ethernet/IP screen shows and enables the user to modify the Ethernet/IP connection of a PanelView terminal. If an additional Ethernet port for the 700 to 1500 terminals is needed, the 2711P-RN20 Ethernet networking facility is provided. The module is assigned its own IP address. This port supports MDI/MDI-X connectivity and is equipped with an RJ45, 10/100Base-T network connection.

The 2711P-B15C4D8 has a 15-inch active color matrix display that can be used with either a finger or a pen, with a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels, 18-bit color graphics, and a 304 by 228-millimeter effective viewing area (12.0 x 9.0 inches). Also had a keypad, the keypad includes function keys that may be configured to save and rapidly trigger bespoke functions.

It features a CCFL backlight with a 50,000-hour life. This backlight is serviceable in the field.

This HMI’s integrated input interface consists of a 40-function keypad and an 8-wire analog resistive touchscreen. Both input ports are enabled to 1 million actuations.

This device is equipped with 1 Ethernet port, 1 serial RS-232 port, and 2 USB ports. Additionally, it has an SD card insertion port for adding removable storage through an SD card.
