The data format of the 1734-IR2 follows signed integer. The accurate current and voltage input accounts for 0.1% full scale @ 25 °C. The nominal external DC supply voltage is 24 Volts DC and the nominal external DC supply current is 15 millamperes at 24 Volts DC. The input conversion type is Delta Sigma.

This applications of this input module are in-cabinet type. The external DC supply voltage ranges from 10 to 28.8 Volts DC. The isolation voltage is 50 Volts (continuous). The type is tested at 1600 Volts AC for 60 seconds. It follows 16 Bits resolution with input signal range of zero (0) to 600 Ohms. The Series C input module has non-isolated 2 single-ended. Converted data is stored as a signed integer. It has an absolute accuracy of 0.1% Full Scale @ 25 °C (77 °F). This module is factory calibrated.

The suitable or compatible terminal bases include 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TOP, or 1734-TOPS wiring base assembly. It weighs approximately around 0.08 pounds.

The 1734-IR2 module is a POINT analog temperature input module that has two (2) single-ended RTD inputs.

The status indicators on the module allows the user to monitor the current network status, module status, and both the input statuses.

The 1734-IR@, being part of the POINT I/O family is a cost-effective, panel space saving module as it supports mounting to a standard 35mm DIN rail and occupies only 56 x 12 x 75.5 mm (2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 in.).
