- Dimensions: 152 x 72 x 172 mm
- Weight: 1.4 kg (3 lbs)
The drive has two analog inputs – one unipolar and one bipolar. They are separately isolated from the body of the drive I/O. The input configuration can be toggled with a digital signal. In addition, there are seven digital inputs for custom programming solutions. Six out of the seven digital inputs are programmable.
The single analog 10-bit output is jumper selectable between 0 to 10 volts or 0 to 20 milliamps. It is typically used for metering or as a reference speed to another drive.
The drive also has two Opto outputs and two relay outputs of form A and B each. These are used for status signals from drives, motors, and their logic controllers.
The 25B-D2P3N104 can accommodate up to two accessory cards. The 25B-D2P3N104 interacts through an embedded Ethernet/IP port, allowing control of the Ethernet network and an inbuilt RS-485 serial interface, allowing for a multi-drop communication setup.
The drive offers closed-loop control with an additional encoder card for feedback that improves speed or position control.
The drive provides easy to use PC programming options where components can be connected with Workbench. The straightforward plug-and-play setup can be utilized with USB connections. The AppView tool has common parameter groups, and new parameter groups can be created with the CustomView tool.
This drive includes built-in safety measures such as automated BUS voltage management and fast-acting current limiting, as well as a Safe Torque-Off function that is shared by all PowerFlex 525 drives.
The PowerFLex 520 series drives include a detachable control module and power module, allowing for simultaneous configuration and installation. With the MainsFree setup, you may connect your control module to a PC using a regular USB cable and instantly upload, download, and flash the drive with new settings.
