Designed for standalone machine control applications, Allen-Bradly® Bulletin 2080 Micro830® programmable logic controller systems accommodate flexible communication and I/O capabilities. 2080-LC30-24QWB is a Micro830 24 I/O controller.

The 2080-LC30-24QWB has 24 input and output channels including 14 input channels and 10 output channels. The 2080-LC30-24QWB outputs are relay outputs and its 14 inputs include 6 standard DC inputs and 8 high-speed DC inputs. This controller supports the Ethernet industrial network. The 2080-LC30-24QWB is mounted on a DIN Rail or a panel and it can tolerate 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity levels.

Available in a Base unit for 24V DC/V AC Input Type, however the High Speed Counter Support option is available as a Plug-in module.

This controller is by default a discrete controller, installed with discrete I/O channels specifically, Fourteen (14) 24 VDC / VAC discrete inputs and Ten (10) Normally Open (N.O.) relay outputs however, analog I/O is supported by this module with the installation of additional plug-in modules as this controller supports installation of up to Three (3) additional modules.

Compatible programming language to the 2080-LC30-24QWB includes Ladder Diagram (LD). Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Structured Text.

The provided data memory to this controller amounts to 8Kbytes and supports up to 4K program steps. This controller is capable of being programmed with user-defined function blocks for program optimization. Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) algorithm and Floating-Point math is also supported by this controller. (support 32-bit and 64-bit floating point math.)

The built-in communication interface to this module is a circular mini-din RS232 connector that supports a variety of industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU Master/Slave, ASCII, and Common Industrial Protocol. In addition, this controller also has a USB 2.0 port that functions as a programming port.

This controller has an embedded 24 VDC Power supply that requires an external 120 VAC / 240 VAC supply Voltage. The recommended external power supply is the 2080-PS120-240VAC.
