The Micro870 24-point controller features an expandable brick style design and its input and output points are embedded. This controller supports 3 plug-in modules and a maximum of 8 Micro800 expansion I/O modules.
For systems with more than 4 Micro800 expansion I/O points, the 2085-EP 24 Volts DC expansion power module is essential.
The Allen-Bradley 2080-LC70-24QBB controller also comes with a mode switch, DIN rail mounting latch, mounting screw hole/mounting foot, expansion input and output slot cover, right-side cover, and a removable I/O terminal block.
Some of this Ethernet/IP controller’s main features include a status indicator, plug-in latch, plug-in screw hole, optional power supply slot, and a 40-pin plug-in connector.
The 2080-LC70-24QBB Ethernet/IP controller’s status indicators show the input status, power status, fault status, network status, output and input status, module status, and serial communication status.
This controller comes with RS232 and RS485 non-isolated combo serial ports. Other notable features of this controller include an RJ-45 Ethernet connector with embedded green and yellow LED indicators. It has a Type B connector for its USB port and a removable I/O terminal block.
Most applications used with this controller require it to be installed in an industrial enclosure to help reduce the effects of environmental exposure and electrical interference.
