The 1734-VHSC5 5V High-Speed Counter Module receives feedback from the encoder, the pulse generator, and the mechanical limit switch. It has a filter for setting 4 selectable (50 Hz, 500 Hz, 5 kHz, and 50 kHz) frequencies, which can also be switched off to achieve the fastest possible counting rate. Its input voltage is 5V DC, and its input current is 19.1mA at 5V DC and 25.7mA at 6V DC.
